The UK insurance firm came to a conclusion after over 18,000 hairdressers in Britain. The company said the MINI One is three and a half times more likely to be driven by someone working as a hairdresser than everyone else. The Audi TT ain’t the most popular car among hairdressers – or at least not in Britain. According to a new study made by UK women's car insurance specialist, that title goes to the one and only, MINI One hatchback.

Hyundai launches Genesis Prada in South Korea

A few decades ago, mentioning brands like Hyundai and Prada in the same sentence would have seemed laughable but today Hyundai has a different image and no car could compete such a transformation more than the Genesis.

The Korean automaker announced a partnership two years ago with the Italian fashion house for a concept car but it has now launched the Genesis Prada. This luxury sedan is distinguished with a shark-fin antenna on the roof, offset by dark chrome trim, special 19-inch alloys and a special paint either Brown Moro, Blue Baltico or Black Nero Paints .

The base A6 2.0 TDI Avant weighs just 3,616 pounds.

It seems that the upcoming Audi S6 and S7 might break that tradition. The cars will be available with the diesel lumps, but the badging will keep the A and not wear an S.

Porsche once again makes use of its “Black Edition” nameplate for its new model, the Cayman S. This model benefits from a power boost and an additional standard equipment limited to 500 units worldwide. The Cayman S Black Edition features an upgraded version of the 3.4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, with output increased by 10 horsepower to 330HP at 7,400 rpm. Maximum torque remains unchanged, however, at 370 Nm at 4,750 rpm.

Alfa Romeo 8C Spider gets 600-horsepower

Alfa Romeo’s 8C Spider may not be the best sports car but it's certainly one of the most beautiful out there. Novitec Rosso, the German tuner is focusing its attention on improving the Alfa’s mechanical hardware.

The highlight would be the adoption of a modified version of the supercharger system used on the firm’s Maserati GT tune. The package includes a water-to-air inter-cooler, dedicated radiator, custom injectors, stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system and an ECU optimization round off the changes to the 4.7-liter V8 engine.

One of the most memorable concept models from the decade is Italdesign’s series of BMW Nazca supercar. The Nazca M12 model was designed by the great Giorgetto Giugiaro and it debuted in 1991 and was followed in by a more hardcore version called the Nazca C2 in 1992 and an open-top Spider C2 model in 1993.

One of the Nazca concepts has been available for sale by a dealer located in the Czech Republic. This car is based on the body of the 1991 Nazca M12 but features an Alpina-prepped 5.7-liter V12 engine producing 379HP.

BMW Concept C scooter to launch in America

You would have known the Concept C which was introduced last year. It was the BMW Motorrad's vision of what a large motor scooter could look like, and now it's moved into production.

It was reported that a production version of the Concept C will be unveiled at major motorbike shows after the summer and once it's in production, it'll likely get a different name, but after that it's headed for the United States.
